Help Fund Free Art for Kids

Contact Us to Support Art for Kids

Thank you for your interest in Golden Road Arts. Educating children and their families about art is our passion. With our founder, Barbara Mason and other Northwest artists, with help from Artey the art bear, children learn how to complete fun art projects.

Elementary and middle school children learn about art history, the interesting lives of some of the most famous artists of the past and also get a peek into working artists of today through lessons, art demos and interviews. We would love to tell you more about us and answer any questions you may have. Give us a call at (503) 718-7097 or contact us with the form below.

We Make Free Online Art Lessons for Children Possible

At Golden Road Arts, our goal is to make art fun and accessible for all children. Our online art lessons are free. We try to use inexpensive materials and items that can be found around the house or are available in the classroom to make it easy for children of all ages to participate. The curriculum follows state educational guidelines and may include a lesson plan parents and educators can use. Most of all, each lesson makes art fun for the whole family.

Art in the classroom is dwindling. And at Golden Roads Arts, we have made it our mission to provide more available resources, making it easier for teachers to incorporate art into the elementary and middle school curriculum.

Creativity extends beyond the classroom, which is why we make all of our art lessons easily accessible for parents who want to teach their children at home or on the go. To view an online art lesson all that is needed is an internet connection and a compatible smart device or computer. Since our website is mobile responsive, our free art lessons can be played virtually anywhere.

Join Us at a Community Art Event

Golden Road Arts participates in a number of local events throughout the year. Our events include live art workshops as well as partnerships with our local library and other community organizations.

Live, in-person events give children the opportunity to meet our founder, Barbara Mason, Artey the art bear and the artists who work with our organization. The children learn about various art techniques, while having plenty of fun along the way. If you have an interest in attending, sponsoring or hosting an in-person art event let us know.

Shop Our Art Gallery and Support Art for Kids

There are many ways to support art education for elementary and middle school students. One way is to purchase art from our online art gallery. The Northwest artists who exhibit their work in our gallery are extremely talented.

For each piece of art purchased, Golden Road Arts receives a percentage that helps to fund our organization. These artists also share their talents through videos, creating free online art lessons for children and by participating in events within the local community.

    Donate to Golden Road Arts

Our free online art lessons and in-person art events are made possible through generous donations from individuals and businesses. There is no greater feeling than supporting art for kids. Your help makes this possible.

If you would like to help Golden Road Arts reach more children and their families, please consider donating today. Any amount helps – Barbara and Artey would like to thank you, in advance, for your generosity.
